Methodology

Decision Room is built on a simple idea: greater clarity leads to better decisions. The role of Decision Room is to guide you towards a decision. Decision Room does not make the decision for you.

How it works

You submit details of a situation where you are looking to make a decision. At Decision Room we review your decision using a consistent structure. This ensures that responses are considered, repeatable, and focused.

Decision Room does not make a decision for you. It clarifies the underlying factors to enable you to make your own decison.

What this means in practice

Decisions are often discussed before they have been properly framed. This can lead to indecision, narrow perspectives and bias.

Decision Room helps establish a clear starting point. In doing so you are able to focus on the actual trade-offs and costs involved, rather than interpretations of the problem.

What you will receive

Each response follows a consistent structure:

The output is a Briefing Report that is designed for you to use when making a decision, or as part of a wider discussion.

Your Briefing Report is not advice, it does not contain a recommendation and it is not a replacement for your own conversations or personal judgment

Your Safety

We do not seek any confidential or identifying information from you. It is not necessary to create an account. Your original data is removed from our database when we send you a Briefing Report.
